We shop at Saraga when we can. They have so much, however..... There isn't a lot of meat selection and the one they do have is not within our price range. The butcher lady was nice, but I couldn't find what I was looking for (the meat) I needed for the pozole I was planning to cook. She just pointed to where I needed to go. She had no other customers... I couldn't find anyone else to help me, so I ended up leaving. Just a small suggestion about that. :) A little help goes a long way. Other than that, we are thrilled to have such a fantastic grocery store. The cashiers are a lot nicer now than when they first opened the store to the public. The security guard is super awesome. The employees on the floors are just as awesome.

Vibrant, colorful, unique. Truly an international market. I don't know of any place such as this. This is a market that carries food, groceries, liquor, and beauty products from all around the world. You walk around and hear so many different languages, to me it represents the best of America as an international community. It is impressive and surprising how much variety there is. My favorite is the halal butcher, the European chocolate/candy aisle, the fish market and the Korean hot dog restaurant in the food court. Yes-there's a food court! One of my favorite places ever.

So inside saraga there is amazing international food, bakeries, restaurants, jewelry and more! Just go and get lost in there! It's a lot of fun! And then they host an international food festival that is one of my favorite outdoor food events! We went both days this weekend and were so pleased with the food choice options. Follow their social media pages to keep informed! So worth it!

I can't get enough of this place! The location in castleton is so much fun! The restaurants, produce, and grocery section is unreal! The items I find in the frozen section are just unreal. I find food from around the globe! I found the grocery to be neat, well organized. The way it's so well presented I shop all day, and visit the different isles and feel like I've transported there!

This location is so different than the one I usually go to (off Lafayette rd) and when I first stepped inside I was like "wow"! It is bigger and has much more stuff in variety. Very impressed that there are long aisle dedicated to Chinese food, Japanese food, etc. It was fun to walk around this store. They have several tenants in the food court which is why I want to go back there. The only disappointment was the meat section. I needed to get some ground beef, but all they had there had already turned grayish brown (the label said it was packaged the day before). Other than that, I found what I wanted and even found some things on sale. Highly recommended.

This place has become a regular spot for me. First the bakery in the front is amazing! Sooooo many yummy treats. My faves are the twist donuts, the croissants, garlic cream cheese... basically everything! Second the vegetable selection is good, lots of things you can't find at mainstream grocery stores. Third love the variety of ethnic foods available in one store. And the prices are usually better than some other ethnic stores. The only downside is that because some of the goods are kind of niche items not everything gets a lot of rotation, so be sure to check expiration dates. Otherwise the quality is pretty good, service is quick and friendly, and it's clean.

I've been wanting to come check this place out for awhile but I was waiting for the "newness" hype to die down, so it wasn't so crowded. I stopped by after work, and wow! What a cool place! It's very spacious, well organized, and there are so many different options. I loved just looking around at all the different options and sections. I picked out some different items that seemed tasty, and I have some of them since. I can't wait to go back here when I have some more time. This place is great, and I'm so glad there is now one close to my home!

Finally made it to the new Saraga- what a treat! My only regret was that I was short on time because I easily could have spent an hour+ exploring the isles here. Upon entering, you're greeted with a beautiful bakery, the produce section and several restaurant stands serving up everything from Korean rice dogs to Mexican eats. It's laid out really nicely and the produce section is quite tidy (and extensive). The isles are labeled well making it fairly easy to find what you are looking for. I was amazed to see that even Rosewater (what I was looking for) made its way onto the sign. You'll find everything from orange blossom water and tapioca drinks to Turkish delight and seafood here. It's the perfect place to find those "hard to find" ingredients. It also doesn't hurt that it neighbors several other fun international grocery stores like Patel Brothers and Viet Hua. I've loved watching Castleton evolve into a more diverse and interesting food scene over the last few years thanks to Indy's immigrant populations.
